Sword Scriptures for Healing

THIS WEBSITE AND PAGE IS IN DRAFT MODE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

When You Are Born Again, the Root Cause is Removed

Matthew 9:1-8
9 And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.
2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. (Jesus addressed the root of the problem - ALL sickness has it's origins from the devil, ALL sin is from the devil).
3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7 And he arose, and departed to his house.

(The result of dealing with the root (sin) resulted in healing - for this to happen in you permanently, you need to be born-again - look up Romans 10:9-10 on instructions on how to become born-again). When you are born again, you receive God's permanent forgiveness, sin is forgiven for all time, and healing can flow when you speak God's Word about healing over your body.

This story shows you how when sin was removed (sin, the root cause of the external problem), it was easy to get rid of the problem that sin manifested itself as (sickness). When you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you received a new Spirit, that's why you are "born again", the old man spirit is gone, the new Spirit is now in you. The new Spirit inside of you is sinless, sealed unto the day of redemption! Although your carnal flesh sins, the Spirit of God inside you is sinless, perfect. You have on a white robe of righteousness, you have been redeemed, purchased through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, fully forgiven and redeemed. Even the devil knows this! But you need to know! Therefore sickness, lack, anxiety, fear cannot stick to you, so tell it to leave! Anything that causes lack of peace or joy in your life is an illegal intruder. Ephesians 6:12 - "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." God has placed the authority into your hands, speak to the mountains. Mark 11:23 - you shall have what you say: For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

I can hold onto the truth that healing is part of the inheritance God lovingly offers His children through faith. Enforce what Jesus already paid for on the cross for you to have, by speaking the Word of God over yourself every day:

Exodus 15:26

“And said, If I will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord my God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, he will put none of these diseases upon me, which he hath brought upon the Egyptians: for he is the Lord that healeth me.” – Exodus 15:26
We are now under a better covenant, but this scripture reveals that sickness is not from God.

Psalm 103:2-3

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all mine iniquities; who healeth all my diseases;” – Psalm 103:2-3

Isaiah 53:5

“But he was wounded for my transgressions, he was bruised for mine iniquities: the chastisement of my peace was upon him; and with his stripes I am healed.” – Isaiah 53:5

James 5:15

“And the prayer of faith shall save me if I am sick, and the Lord shall raise me up; and if I have committed sins, they shall be forgiven me.” – James 5:15

As a believer, I understand that faith is more than wishful thinking — it is trusting in God’s goodness, His character, and His promises, even when circumstances seem difficult. The Bible reminds me that faith can move mountains and bring peace in the middle of uncertainty. As I continue to trust God, I open my heart to His healing power. These verses encourage me to keep believing, knowing that God is always working, even when I cannot yet see the outcome.

Mark 5:34

“And he said unto me, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”

Matthew 17:20

“And Jesus said unto me, Because of my unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If I have faith as a grain of mustard seed, I shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto me.” – Matthew 17:20 - I believe Jesus' finished work on the cross.

Luke 8:50

“But when Jesus heard it, he answered me, saying, Fear not: believe only, and I shall be made whole.” – Luke 8:50

John 14:14

“If I shall ask any thing in his name, he will do it.” – John 14:14

Prayer for Healing

Prayer allows me to bring every fear, hope, burden, and need before God. It reminds me that I never walk through hardship alone. When I pray, I am speaking directly with the One who loves me completely and knows exactly what I need. Prayer invites peace into my heart and helps me trust God. The Bible encourages me to pray boldly, faithfully, and thankfully, knowing that God hears every sincere prayer and lovingly responds.

Luke 4:40

“Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.” – Luke 4:40

Matthew 14:36

“And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.” – Matthew 14:36

Healing the Brokenhearted

God cares deeply about the hidden hurts I carry inside. His healing is not limited to physical sickness — He also brings comfort to emotional pain, grief, disappointment, and heartbreak. In seasons when I feel weary or overwhelmed, God gently reminds me that He is close to the brokenhearted. His presence brings peace, hope, and restoration. These scriptures encourage me to trust that God is faithfully healing the wounds others cannot see.

Psalm 147:3

“He healeth my broken heart, and bindeth up my wounds.” – Psalm 147:3

Isaiah 61:1

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” – Isaiah 61:1

Matthew 11:28

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“Blessed be God, even the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth me in all my tribulation, that I may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

The Power of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit walks with me through every challenge and every season of life. He comforts me, strengthens me, teaches me, and gently reminds me that I am never alone. Through His presence, I can experience peace in uncertainty, courage in weakness, and healing in places that need restoration. These scriptures remind me that God’s Spirit is active, powerful, and lovingly at work within me each day. I will speak them forth daily and enforce the victory that was won for me by Jesus on the cross.

Romans 8:11

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in me, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken my mortal body by his Spirit that dwelleth in me.” – Romans 8:11

John 14:26

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in his name, he shall teach me all things, and bring all things to my remembrance, whatsoever he hath said unto me.” – John 14:26

Acts 10:38

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” – Acts 10:38

Galatians 5:22-23

“But the fruit of the Spirit in me is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23

1 Corinthians 12:9

“To me faith by the same Spirit; to me the gifts of healing by the same Spirit.” – 1 Corinthians 12:9

Jesus: My Healer

Jesus is at the center of my healing and restoration. Everywhere He went, He showed compassion to the hurting, healed the sick, comforted the brokenhearted, and brought hope to those who felt forgotten. His love has not changed. When I come to Jesus, I can trust that He sees me, cares for me, and walks beside me through every challenge. These verses remind me that Jesus remains my faithful healer and source of peace today.

Matthew 9:35

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” – Matthew 9:35

Jesus never said no to anyone, and he is not saying no to you.

All his Words are yes and amen, access granted, healing provided. Every scripture about healing is saying "yes" to you. God wants you well so that you can bring glory to His name. The devil comes to steal, kill destroy, not God. Jesus came to give you LIFE. On earth as it is in Heaven. There is no sickness in heaven.

Matthew 12:15

“But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;” – Matthew 12:15

Luke 17:19

“And he said unto me, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” – Luke 17:19. Faith is simply trusting that God's Word's are true. Your Father loves you. He is not a man that he should lie. His Word is true. Be at peace.

Acts 3:16

“And his name through faith in his name hath made me strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given me perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” – Acts 3:16

Hebrews 13:8

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” – Hebrews 13:8

Colossians 3:13

“Forbearing another, and forgiving another, if I have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave me, so also do I.” – Colossians 3:13

1 Thessalonians 5:11

“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Ephesians 4:32

“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven me.” – Ephesians 4:32

There are many more verses to be added. I will add many more verses in the coming days. For now, remember that you are not the sick trying to get healed, you are the healed enforcing your healing that Jesus died to pay for on the cross. He did that for you. He took sickness and disease and sin on his own body on the cross, on your behalf, so that you don't have to have it. Adam let sin and sickness into the world in the garden of Eden, but Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice to redeem us from sin and sickness. Your healing has been bought and paid for! So speak aloud the scriptures about healing over your body. Speak them loud. Command sickness to leave! Get angry at the devil and don't let him take what is rightfully yours, not for one more day! God sees you, he loves you, he has provided his Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice for you. Healing is flowing toward you just as much as salvation is always flowing to anyone who will receive it. So receive your healing. Tell the Lord that you receive it from Him. You don't have to earn it. Just receive healing in the same way as you received salvation. If you are not sure if you are saved, look up Romans 10:9-10. Remember, salvation, healing and provison are all in the same atonement package. If you can receive salvation, you can receive healing. And provision. Lastly, remember above all else, seek the Healer more than you seek the healing. When you are in relationship with Him, He is the Vine and you are the branches. Whatever flows through Him, flows through you. Stay in Jesus. Take care. I send much love.
