Key points: We are already provided for, we just need to receive:
GOD WANTS US BLESSED SO THAT WE CAN BE A BLESSING
GOD WANTS US TO TRUST THAT HE WILL ALWAYS PROVIDE FOR US
THE GOOD SAMARITAN HAD TO BE WEALTHY TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR THE WOUNDED MAN AND PAY FOR THE EXPENSES, HE USED HIS WEALTH FREELY FOR GOOD.
Jesus wants to give to us. We can’t do anything of ourselves. We can just receive his promises. Like a small baby who is helpless, our Father supplies our needs, we can just accept everything from him in full reliance, knowing He loves us, and that we are born-again free, and an heir to His throne..
"Jesus Lord, I am yours, I let you flow through me to accomplish everything you have for me, and I receive everything you have for me Lord"
When Jesus told the disciples to put down the nets again, they didn’t have to plant a seed of fish to receive a harvest of fishes.
When Jesus fed the 5000, he multiplied what the young boy had, but the people that received the food didn’t “give food to receive food”.
When Jesus died on the cross to provide our forgiveness, healing and abundant life (by His stripes we are healed, and, He was made poor so that we might be made rich -which in Greek is “wealthy”), we didn’t have to “plant” anything to receive those things. In fact, even the faith we had to receive the full salvation package was not of our own, it is the faith of Christ.
How can we say that part of the redemption package needs a money offering planted to receive it? You can freely receive forgiveness and healing, but you have to give money first before receiving provision??
God’s very name is Jehovah Jireh which is “provider”. It is his very nature to provide to us.
Did Adam and Eve have to sow anything to receive provision from God their Father? Or did they just eat the fruits? Are we not now restored to the condition of the pre-sin Adam?
Does an heir to the throne need to “do” anything to receive their rightful inheritance from their father?
The scriptures about seed in the Bible are all referring to planting the Word in the heart! Not money.
The scriptures about talents are talking about planting the Word and the Word producing the fruits of the Spirit. We then disciple others to do the same! We excitedly tell them that they can have everything that Jesus paid to give them too!!
The scripture about “give and it shall be given to you, pressed down, shaken together” read in context with the whole chapter, is talking about the giving of mercy and forgiveness to others, not about money.
What did the Israelites do to “earn” the promised land, a fully prepared land where milk and honey was already flowing, and huge grapes growing?
The animal sacrifices given under the Law, which came later, existed because once purified, they could have communion with God. This is why in the old testament the Holy Spirit anointing came and left, came and left, because they were purified for short bursts in the Old Testament. But we now are born again, and we have the Holy Spirit all the time!
Abraham didn’t have to sacrifice Isaac to become the father of many nations, God provided a ram instead! Abraham only had to be fully surrendered to God, it was a condition of the heart. But he didn’t give a son to get more sons, he simply had faith in God that he would have innumerable descendants.
Abraham was materially blessed because of his faith and therefore favour with God. Because of this he could be generous. It was nothing for him to be generous with Lot because he knew he didn’t do anything to earn blessings from God, and because his performance had nothing to do with it, he knew the blessings would keep coming!
So why give?
Out of FAITH that arises inside me because I KNOW God will always provide for me, the ACTION that that faith produces is generosity!
If we have to “plant seeds of money” to receive provision from God, then we are saying that there is still an area where we must “perform”! In fact, we should be fully rested in His finished completed work of redemption. We have been restored to the pre Adamic sin state. They did no “works” to receive anything! It is not necessary to “plant money to receive money” - the only thing that we need to do is this - “Father God, you love me, and I rest in your completed work that Jesus did on the cross for me, I am your son/daughter, and I accept and rest in your full provision for me, as my Father you give me forgiveness, health for my body, and full provision to sustain me, not because I deserve or earn it in any way, but because you already made provision for me, because you love and care for me. I lay down my life and surrender to you, and now I have passed from the old kingdom of law and works, to the new Kingdom of restoration of my soul, body, and full abundant life, like you said, look at the birds, they don’t toil or spin, but your Father feeds them. I rest in you my Father Jireh, my God who provides, and I will never doubt you again. For as an heir, how could I ever doubt that you wouldn’t love and feed your very own child. Thank you Abba Father, in Jesus’ name. All Glory to you Jesus Lord, Yahusha Messiah.
Out of this rest (my trust in Jesus that I'm so sure about that I stop fretting) flows generosity as a fruit of the Spirit, because I want to, because I enjoy to, because I trust in my Father that provides for me always, I give because I’m born free to an abundant and generous Father, because it makes me happy to share my blessings, not because I have to give to keep the tap running. We are loved and cared for, we are no longer under any kind of works but under grace! Generosity flows from my trust in God which produces the fruit of the Spirit. God is generous and so I now have the nature of my abundant God, so I can be generous. I love being generous because the love of God flows from my spirit! So out of FAITH that arises inside me because I KNOW God will always provide for me, the ACTION that that faith produces is generosity.
We are not trying to be healed, we are the healed enforcing our healing.
We are not the poor trying to be rich, we are the rich, enforcing our entitlements of provision as heirs of God.
It is the same with sin. I don't "not sin" because I have to, I simply don't want to sin anymore! I am so grateful to Jesus my Lord for my forgiveness, that I no longer want to live in the old kingdom. I am grateful and free! The ACTION that being fully forgiven produces is GRATITUDE which produces a desire to not want to disappoint my Heavenly Father, and the fruit of that is that I DON'T WANT TO SIN because now SIN NO LONGER HAS A HOLD ON ME, because the DEVIL IS DEFEATED.
Even the faith I have to receive from my Father is the faith of Christ. I have done nothing except to accept Christ’s invitation to partake in his full restoration of me back into his fold, back to the full privileges that Adam and Eve originally had. Praise the Lord!
By accepting all forgiveness, all healing, all abundant life, all provision, God’s provision toward me is now UNlimited! It’s no longer limited to a multiplication of any particular sum of money. I’m free! I’m God’s child! My blessings are unlimited.
Lets be good stewards of our gifts. We are healed, and freely we administer healing to others. We are the forgiven, so generously we preach the Gospel to others so that they can also be forgiven. We are provided for, so let's bless others from our abundance.
By Abraham being wealthy, was he only given what he needed little bit by little bit? No, he was lavishly provided for and didn’t have to spend his days worrying if he had food tomorrow because he owned vast amounts of herds.
If we don’t have to worry about staying in faith for basic needs, we can focus our faith and prayers and energy on others instead of ourselves.
And as Jesus is, so am I in this world! I can now pray a blessing over anything and command it to multiply. I can give it away after I have commanded it to multiply but in this case I am specifically multiplying it for other people, not myself. The wine was made from water for the party guests, the bread and fish was multiplied to feed others, not just Himself. Jesus, as the son of God, was already provided for by His Father.
Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes as an act of compassion and love for other people. He was blessed already, so He gave out of his abundant blessings, which exist in the spiritual world in a limitless fashion, so that he could simply command it into the physical world. He already had it to be able to multiply it.
We serve God who can command water to come out of a rock, who if he wanted to could create bread from stones.
The Word of God in my mouth has the same power as the Word of God in Jesus’ mouth! This is a revelation God spoke to Reinhard Bonnke, and it aligns with scripture about speaking to the mountains in your life. Any mountain!!
Rest in the finished work of Christ, work in your job or business so that you may have to give to others and trust in your Heavenly Father for the increase, provisions, abundance.
Unleash your faith to receive unlimited provision and healing from the Lord.
Remember, the strong man (the devil) has been bound, and now you can plunder his goods just as Jesus did. Heal the sick, raise the dead, freely give, refers to giving to others what you have already received!
In the old Testament, the prophet went to the widow woman. She gave him oil and he told her to get vessels for oil anyway she could. He asked her what do you have in your house, and she said oil and so he multiplied her oil so that was enough for her to live on. We tend to see ourselves as the widow woman, but now in the new Testament we are the prophet! Not the widow - "As Jesus is so are we in this world" we are the ones that can give the blessing for the multiplication to happen. We are not the ones that need the blessing. Our blessing has already been provided for!
The woman putting the mites into the treasury that Jesus said she gave all that she had. The story doesn’t go on to say that she received multiplication of her giving it simply showed the condition of her heart that she was willing to give all to God. In a true understanding of blessing, she understood that she was already provided for, that she would not go without even though she gave her money away. Giving the money was not a condition of her receiving more blessing - giving the money came from knowing that she didn’t have to worry about money.
Jesus forgave all our sins, and so because we are so thankful that we are forgiven, we want to please him and we don’t want to sin anymore. Our good works flow from the thankfulness in our hearts.
Not “we do good works to receive favour and salvation” but “good works flow from the joy of having already received favour and salvation”
And so with money, we give because we are already blessed with abundance and we are so thankful that we want to share it. We don’t give as a “condition” of receiving provision. We are sons and daughters of Jehovah Jireh, provision and abundance already belongs to us. We don’t need to earn it. We receive it by faith, we rest in the provision of our Abba Father. Generosity flows from us because we know that generosity from our Abba Father is constantly flowing to us. The same way forgiveness of sins is constantly flowing to us. The same way healing is constantly flowing to us. Our faith response is to receive it, and rest in the finished work of Jesus. Now we can help and bless those around us. Freely you have received, freely give. Our giving and generosity becomes a faith response - our heart believes our God will always supply our needs, and so we love to give.
But don't I have to play a part in this?
Faith in action - the blind man who was healed had to go wash in the river, the apostles had to put down their nets for the big catch , Peter had to put out a line to find the fish with the coin in its mouth. Ask the Lord what He wants you to do.
"As He is, so are we in this world" 1 John 4:17 So are you the boy who gave Jesus the loaves and the fish? Or are your the one who receives blessing and commands the increase? Which one was Jesus? Answer: The one who commands the increase.
Are you the woman collecting vessels for oil, or are you the one who gives the command for the miracle, and receives oil from the woman? "As He is so are we in this World."
Are you the servants that provided the water in the pots? Or are you the one who gives the command for the water to become wine?
Whenever was a baby heir born into the world, and the baby had to plant an offering of food to receive milk? An heir has the provision of the father!
Speak to the mountains and they will obey you. And instead we have been planting money and waiting on and pleading God, when He told us to make the commands, us to speak to the mountains! Speak to anything around you and tell it to multiply - God's Word in His mouth is the same as God's Word in your mouth. "As He Is, so are we in this world". Ask the Lord, "What do you want me to speak to today Lord?"
Jesus already did his part. We have it all under our authority. Command it to be. Then rest in the finished work of Christ. Trust in God's provision for you. Rest in knowing that a good Father provides for His own. Scripture says that if a man does not provide for his own he is worse than an infidel (unbeliever). God is not an infidel! He provides for His children. He has put he power into your hands, and then expects you to steward his gifts properly, and be generous, because He is first generous to you. Can you see the pattern? We love others because He first loved us. We forgive others because he first forgave us. We give to others because he first gives to us. We lay our hands on the sick so that they may recover, because he first healed us. Everything was accomplished on the cross by Jesus in the same atonement package. Jesus established a law of flowing blessings that He paid for with His Blood. When someone asks for salvation and receives Jesus into their heart, they can be assured that they are saved, because Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. So therefore we never have to worry about "is Jesus going to save me today or not" if you pray that prayer. You know that it's done! In exactly the same way that abundant life, provision and healing flows. It's already set up to flow because it's flowing in the same atonement package that salvation flows to you. Jesus is not up there picking and choosing who will be healed today, who will be provided for today. He's saying, receive! and Speak to your mountains! Now act in faith. Put out your nets. How long did it take for the nets to be filled? Did the apostles wait a whole night for one fish to jump into the net at a time? No, it happened instantly. Stop limiting God. Open up your eyes of faith. Put out your nets. Go! - because as He is, so are we in this world. I hope you understand. I send much love to you. You are blessed. You are loved.

Is God's Provision Dependent on Our Performance?
